Provides matching grant funds to assist states in the “acquisition, restoration, management or enhancement of coastal wetlands.” Wisconsin projects bordering the Great Lakes are eligible.

Brownfields Grant Program
Wisconsin’s Brownfields Grant Program provides funds to assist with the remediation of environmental contamination of abandoned, idle, or underused industrial or commercial facilities or sites.
Minneapolis Foundation
Great Lakes Environmental Justice Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Center (TCTAC)
These grants are made possible by funding from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through its Environmental Justice Thriving Communities Grantmaking Program. Starting in 2024, the Foundation will distribute $52 million over three years. Applications are accepting on a rolling basis until November 2026.
